Dr. David Diehl earned a Bachelor of Sciences from Iowa State University and moved to Los Angeles, CA, where he enjoyed a successful career in the entertainment industry in Hollywood for 10 years - doing television commercials, music videos, and television specials. It was after the birth of his daughter that he was compelled to switch gears and pursue a career where he could help others. He pursued his studies at Palmer West College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA where he graduated cum laude with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. Upon graduation in 1998, Dr. David began a practice in Bakersfield, CA and was awarded "Favorite Chiropractor" and "Best Chiropractor" two years consecutively by The Bakersfield Californian. In 2004, Dr. Diehl began a practice in Pella, IA and during that time he became certified as a Maximized Living Mentor in advanced studies of nutrition, exercise, time and stress management. In 2010, Dr. David opened his current practice in Westlake Village, CA.
Dr. Diehl currently serves on the Maximized Living Wellness Committee for USA Wrestling, USA Weightlifting, USA Judo and USA Volleyball. He is also a member of the Council on Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness - this association allows him the opportunity to work with and adjust world class athletes during training and competitions. In 2009-2010 he worked with the United States Water Polo team.
He is a member of Pi Tau Delta (International Chiropractic Honor Society), The California Chiropractic Association, and the Gonstead Clinical Society for Advanced Chiropractic Studies. Locally, Dr. Diehl currently supports the Oaks Christian Boys Basketball team where he serves as team Chiropractor.
Dr. Diehl is most passionate about his mission of helping families in the pursuit of regaining and maintaining their health. He is dedicated to helping and educating our community through workshops and by providing specific adjusting and customized health plans in his Westlake Village office.
